Krispy Kreme makes delicious doughnuts. They only advertise on the main social media channels. For a few years, I had the pleasure of working on Month-to-month product marketing campaigns involving the development of rich social media assets to promote each major holiday doughnut assortment, or the doughnuts involved in a special limited time offer. Limited time offers included fun, informal undeclared national holidays, major events like an eclipse or super bowl, or anything society deems necessary to celebrate with doughnuts. My role involved asset ideation, sketching, storyboarding, photoshoots, composition design, and animation.
The concept for the National Doughnut Week activations revolved around our typical work week mindset during he pandemic — what day is it?
By showing the flipping calendar and spinning clock, audiences get a sense of the long drawn out week.

Gingerbread doughnuts are always a hit during the holidays. I brought this concept to life by animating a fleet of "gingies" making their delicious doughnuts while singing some catchy Christmas sing-a-long cheers.
It's Krispy Kreme's 85th birthday. So, that means 8,500 people win a year of free OG doughnuts. Let's celebrate!
